About the Better Together Foundation
The Better Together Foundation is a community-driven nonprofit committed to empowering individuals facing challenging life circumstances, with a current focus on supporting men in transition. Our mission is to provide a stable, structured environment that fosters personal growth, independence, and long-term success.
We currently operate a transitional home located in Prichard, Alabama—a fully furnished 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom residence with the capacity to house up to six adult men. This home is designed not as a place of permanence, but as a stepping stone toward self-sufficiency. Residents are encouraged to actively pursue employment, financial stability, and personal development during their stay.
To ensure accessibility, rent is kept at an affordable rate of $200 per month. This reduced cost is made possible through the support of our affiliated social enterprise, High-Way—a nonprofit initiative that organizes educational and recreational trips for youth. The revenue generated by High-Way helps to sustain our housing program, reinforcing our commitment to community empowerment on multiple levels.
Through compassion, accountability, and opportunity, the Better Together Foundation is building a pathway toward independence—one person, one home, and one life at a time.
